Scholarship Announcement for High School Graduates from Texas
Scholars will receive:
Scholarships are available to High School students who have achieved academic excellence while overcoming hardship or other difficult circumstances.
Eligibility:
High School Seniors, who are planning to enroll in college from the state of Texas
The minimum GPA should be 3.0
A commitment to community service.
Family income less than $160,000 per annum
Citizens or permanent residents of the U.S.
Meet the federal definition of low socio-economic status or eligible for free or reduced lunch.
Enrolled full-time in an accredited College/University.
Complete the approved program within four years of your Scholarship award.
The students need to maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA to be eligible for renewal.
Documents:
Copy of Parent’s latest Federal Tax Returns, W-2/1099.
High School Transcript
Complete the FAFSA application and submit SAR (Student Aid Report).
Copy of your student account summary upon registration each semester.
Copy of your unofficial transcript at the end of each semester.
Two references, recommendation letters, enrolment certificate
Driver’s License or State ID
Comply with all terms on Student Agreement of the Scholarship Application.

Scholars will receive
The scholars will receive a scholarship up to $5,000 annually. The students need to maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA to be eligible for scholarship renewal. The scholarship may be used to pay tuition, room and board, fees, and other educational expenses.
Empower College Scholarship Program 2023-2024 Date extended to 15th Feb 2024
